While in the cabins the ratio is one Cabin Leader  to eleven students. There is an infirmary stocked with all necessary first    aid items. All of the staff is trained in CPR/First Aid. In addition paramedics are fifteen minutes to our site, while drive time to Big Bear or Loma Linda hospitals is twenty-five to thirty minutes depending on traffic. We will allow your child to telephone you if homesickness continues. The shower stalls are individual, separate and private. You may also send letters. Due to privacy matters any phones  brought on site will be collected by the teacherand returned to the student at their home school. If the storm is too heavy we have many places for indoor activities. Cabins need to be food free so as not to attract wildlife.
